In the continued pursuit to build some awesome experiences for festivals like Vivid Sydney 2018. 1000 Cranes was created to highlight the moments people are promoting a positive message. Inspired by the Senbazuru legend, popularised by Sadako after Hiroshima, the project was awarded the 2nd most instagramable for the year by vivid.

MailboX - Vivid 2017, I Light Singapore

For their first ever Vivid project, Bella and her 5 friends built the MailboX which looked into augmenting the 'Letter posting experience' and bringing it into the 21st century. The installation encouraged users to tweet the 'Mailbox' and emoji which was displayed on the facade then based on the audience's response, the installation would get happy or sad. The project was featured at 'I light Marina Bay' in 2018 and 'Vivid Sydney' in 2017.

Xbox Event for Game Launch Concept

Bushfires have been an intrinsic part of our landscape for millions of years. In Australia, much of our vegetation and way of life has evolved from these flames, but due to increasing temperatures and over farming we see more frequent and intense fires. The artists intend to educate audiences on the importance of both fearing and revering fire through visual representations of intensity and the aftermath of these events. The artists use illuminated columns to create an urban forest of light. Changing lighting and audio effects represent the natural and unnatural cycles of a forest. As participants move through the forest, motion sensors and real time weather data trigger different effects that represent fire spreading through the forest. - Event Cancelled

Xbox Event for Game Launch Concept

Ambient and Co was approached to concept an event for the Xbox brand for the releasing Ori and the Will of the Wisps – one of our blockbuster titles in our FY20 games slate. This would see Xbox bring the giant structure to the masses in a completely interactive and socially-led way. They were looking to work with a light installation company to create an interactive, luminescent representation of the tree in an accessible and busy location, such as The Grounds of Alexandria or Botanical Gardens in Sydney.
